On November 18, 2024, the global boy group NexZ made their highly anticipated comeback, supported by substantial backing from JYP Entertainment and Sony. "Nallina" stands out as a dance track that blends unique percussion sounds and Moombahton rhythms.

Unlike the typical K-pop songs we often hear, this track introduces an unconventional fusion of diverse rhythms and shifting beats, creating a free-flowing musical experience.

Moombahton, an electronic dance music (EDM) genre, combines house music elements with reggaeton. It is known for its heavy Afro-Latin percussion, syncopated drum patterns, and deep basslines borrowed from house and dubstep, offering a tropical yet urban sound that’s irresistibly danceable.

NexZ’s branding is evident in their comeback track, which was clearly carefully crafted by JYP's Division 1 team (the same division that manages Stray Kids). It’s apparent that the focus is on strengthening the group's global presence.

The effort is also reflected in the Side B track from their album, "Hard," which was also featured on the M2 YouTube channel. "Hard" is a powerful anthem celebrating resilience, empowerment, and self-discovery.

The song’s imagery of transformation—rising from darkness and shining like a diamond—symbolises personal renewal and the pursuit of one’s true potential.

With their stunning dance performances and stage presence, NexZ has undoubtedly found their true potential. Fans were thrilled to see JYP finally grant their long-desired powerful tracks for the group. Additionally, the M2 channel also showcased fan cams of members Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki, further cementing the group's connection with their fanbase.

The trust placed in NexZ by JYP and Sony is evident in the extensive promotion they have received. The group has been busy with promotions on platforms such as KBS, Hello82, MBC K-pop, and Korean School Attack, ensuring their exposure continues to grow both locally and internationally. This comeback signals NexZ’s ongoing rise as a formidable global force in the music industry.
